When transitioning a to a new cat litter, add small quantities of the new brand to the box adding more every time you top up the  box. Over the course of a week, you should be able to make the switch-over complete. Keep litter topped up to between 3 and 4 inches in the box. Courtesy Petmate hooded litter pan.
