Do trends for pets change as often as human trends change?

Well obviously there is some influence  from pet parents because after all , they are the ones with the wallet.

Toys are probably  something that change a lot. If you stop watching Duck Dynasty and tune into something else, you may be tempted to purchase a toy that reflects your new taste in TV.

But when it comes to gadgets, if they worked for pets before Christmas, they will work for pets now. And the same applies to foodie things. If it was yummy for Christmas , it will be yummy for any other occasion too.
